Welcome to Class Two's maths page!!

We have talked to the children about what they like about maths and listened carefully to their ideas.  It seems all of our children enjoy using the computer so we thought we would try and find some FUN educational games online for the children to play at home.  Many of the sites have a 'parents' area which has more information and ensures you can be as involved as you want in your child's learning.
We have provided links from this page direct to the websites that we have tried.

The following two sites are links from the CBBC site which we are assured is ' cool'!! I have played lots of the games and they are really bright, fun, and well animated.

This website covers multiplication, addition, subtraction, estimation, patterns, place value and lots more so children could randomly explore it or play games that tie in with their topic at school

KS2 bite size has a huge variety of activities covering all areas of maths.  Some of the games are focused on helping prepare children for sats at the end of KS2.

The little animals activity centre is a lovely bright site more suited to Year 2 but excellent for any Year 3,4 ' s who lack confidence in maths.  It focuses on addition and subtraction.
